​​​CS Day Schedule of Events

​

The CS day schedule is separated into a morning session (covering talks on a variety of different topics in computing) and an afternoon session (covering various types of hands-on CS activities and demos), with lunch in between. Talks and demos will be happening in parallel sessions.


Examples of talks include:

  • Unlocking the power of cloud computing

  • Robot Petting Zoo

  • Bending Wires and Turning Gears - Spatial Computing for Design

  • Raspberry Pycraft - Play Minecraft on Raspberry Pi with Python

  • Autonomous toy car demo

  • Build your own Pringle Can Enigma Cipher


To facilitate your experience while meeting capacity constraints on our rooms and activities, each registered participant group will be assigned to one of 10 tracks. Your track will take you on a guided tour through a schedule of 3 talks and 4 hands-on demos, covering a
variety of different topic areas in computer science. A full schedule for your assigned track, with all times and locations, will be provided upon check-in on the day of the event.
